me if I want to install and run the Wishbone Toolbar?
Your security settings are set so that you are prompted before any programs are installed on your machine. The dialog box is just asking you to confirm that you want to install the Wishbone Toolbar.
- When I try to install the Wishbone Toolbar on WindowsNT, Windows2K, or WindowsXP, it fails. What's happening?
If you're running WindowsNT, Windows2K, or WindowsXP, verify that you have the Administrative privileges required to install applications. Check with your system administrator if you are uncertain about the status of your system privileges.
- I've installed the Wishbone Toolbar, but I can't find it. What happened?
Your Wishbone Toolbar is most likely just hidden from view. First check the Internet Explorer's View > Toolbars menu item for the Wishbone Toolbar. If there is no checkbox next to the Wishbone Toolbar then click it to enable it. If there is a checkbox next to the Wishbone Toolbar then click it to disable it and then click it again to re-enable it. If you have more than one third-party toolbar installed then Internet Explorer may associate the Wishbone Toolbar with the name of another toolbar. If this happens you will have to enable and disable the toolbar via the other toolbar entry. If you have Internet Explorer 5.0 then the Wishbone Toolbar may show up as a second Radio toolbar entry. Click to enable the second Radio entry and you should see the Wishbone Toolbar appear.
- Why do I get an Active X error message when I try to install the Toolbar?

- Click on the Security Tab
- Click on the Internet icon in the window
- Change your security setting to Medium
- If you see a sliding bar, move it to Medium.
- If you see custom setting information, click on the Default Level button and then move the slider to Medium.
- Click OK
- Try to install the Wishbone Toolbar again
Why doesn't the Wishbone Toolbar show up on my AOL browser?
The Wishbone Toolbar is not currently available for the AOL browser. You can use AOL as your Internet connection, but once you are connected, you should open Internet Explorer to use the Wishbone Toolbar.
How do I remove the Wishbone Toolbar if I don't want it anymore?
Uninstalling the Wishbone Toolbar is fast and easy. Click on the checkmark icon on the toolbar and then click on the "About" link and you will find an Uninstall button. Click the Uninstall button and then confirm with a click on the "yes" button and the uninstall process will begin. Alternatively, you can pull up the Windows Add/Remove Programs list via Start > Control Panel. Once you've found the Wishbone Toolbar in the Windows Add/Remove Programs list click on it and then click the Remove button. Upon reboot, all of the Wishbone Toolbar components will be completely removed.
